About

The next event will be on Sat., Oct 14, 2017. This registration will open on September 5, 2017 at 8am. At that time, please make sure you register COMPLETELY...you will receive a confirmation email &/or text once you register; one appointment per resident.

These events take place at Parkland College, 2400 W. Bradley Ave, Champaign; USE THE DUNCAN ROAD ENTRANCE & then follow the signs. (Assistance removing items from your vehicle will be provided) The events go ahead rain or shine, that includes thunder & lightning. Keep in mind that rain will slow things down, but the wait is still minimal. The weather would have to get very severe before we cancel.

Residents can only register once, but multiple residents from a single residence can register. You will receive a postcard in the mail 5-7 days before the event. There is a 2 TV limit per postcard (ALL types, models, & sizes of TV's are accepted!) & 10-item total limit per postcard. Click here to view the list:  Accepted and Non-Accepted Items List

With the exception of CRT (tube) TV’s, there are local options available to recycle most electronics year-round, click here for more info: Year-Round Recycling Options
At this present time, the only way you can get rid of old CRT (tube) TV's is at these collection events.
